EPIC™ dark is similar to EPIC™ HCV, but it is voiced to produce a darker timbre without losing any resonance. Basically ALL the overtones are still in the mix, they're just mixed or EQued to be a bit more in the lower partials, and softer in the upper partials . Dark's throat shape and deeper baffle help broaden your sound while still maintaining proper center. It is a great option for players who cherish full resonance but are cautious about being bright.
