Holding the worlds record for the longest breath (circular breathing) on Soprano Saxophone - this man can play everything from pop, smooth, to straigth jazz. Tip opening: .085". Due to our unique long arched baffle desing, you get power without being buzzy, and you get freedom without losing control of the playing experience. This facing feels a bit closer than it measures. Many of our clients say if feels like a 7*.
The "power alto" plays super easy because the reflective surface of the long and arched baffle contour is rather close to the reed. And therefore the tonal propagation is easy, the altissimo - the super high notes speak with confidence - they lock in with greater control - and the blowing experience is free and unconfined. We recommend strength 2.5 reeds to start, and then you can go up or down from there if needed.
